Ed White - Chairman of The Board

In 1980, after working for Westinghouse Electric Corporation for 10 years, Mr. White founded Utility Translation Systems, Inc. (UTS), a very successful software company headquartered in Raleigh, NC. In 1996 he sold UTS to Itron, Inc. He served as Itron's Chairman of the Board until retiring in 2003 and has remained a frequent speaker at industry conferences throughout the world. Mr. White is a graduate of the North Carolina State University School of Engineering, and he is an active member of the NCSU's Engineering Foundation's Board of Directors. He is also the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Directors of Morrisville, North Carolina's Chamber of Commerce.

Kyle O'Brien - CEO, Board Member

Kyle O’Brien is responsible for day to day operations of the company. Mr. O’Brien was formerly a key member of Senior Management at AirTouch Communications, which later merged its U.S. properties into Verizon Wireless and its International properties with Vodafone in the U.K. While at AirTouch he held senior positions in corporate strategy, business development and operations. His most recent position was responsible for Japan operations and was an integral part of AirTouch’s evolution into one of the world’s largest wireless service providers. He puts his experience in the wireless industry and proven ability to build long-term, strategic partnerships to work for Field2Base, establishing scaleable business processes that will allow Field2Base to unlock its full potential. Kyle recieved a BSE from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia University in New York City.

David Lea - President, Co-Founder and Board Member

David Lea has been involved with technology sales, marketing and executive management for over 30 years with experience from start-ups to multi-billion dollar international organizations. He spent 20+ years with Memorex Telex and its predecessor companies in sales, sales management and marketing and ultimately as head of worldwide marketing. After leaving the large company environment, he was a founder of the first commercial travel site on the Internet, PCTravel, which sold airline tickets online before the advent of the Web. Immediately prior to joining Field2Base as a co-founder, he was acting CEO of Cambar Software, a supply chain software provider, and helped complete the sale of the company to outside investors. Mr. Lea received his BA in Economics with honors and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Robert McKenzie - Chief Financial Officer

Robert McKenzie is an entrepreneurial CFO with over 20 years of financial leadership experience. Prior to Field2Base, he was co-founder of Rankin|McKenzie, LLC, a financial management firm specializing in interim and outsourced Chief Financial Officer, controller, and accountant services to companies in the Research Triangle Park Area. Mr. McKenzie has served as CFO for a number of dynamic companies including CipherOptics, Drug Safety Alliance, Inc., Bloodhound, Inc., TekSell.com, Inc., and CLG, Inc. Additionally, Mr. McKenzie held a number of management positions with Wachovia and BB&T during the eleven years prior to joining CLG, Inc. Mr. McKenzie received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from Wofford College, and his Master's Degree in Business Administration with Distinction from Wake Forest University. He is a licensed CPA in North Carolina.
