CLANCY & THEYS WINS FIRST PLACE IN AGC OF AMERICA'S BITS CONTEST 2005
Judges Impressed by How Cutting-Edge Technology, Field2Base, Improved Its Business Practices

Charlotte, NC, April 1, 2005...Clancy & Theys Construction Company (www.clancytheys.com), one of the top contractors in the United States with a division office in Charlotte, NC , was awarded first place in The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America's Best Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Contest 2005, a competition featuring the newest technology-driven business applications for contractors across America, which was held during AGC's 86th Annual Convention this month in Las Vegas, NV. "AGC of America's BITS Contest is growing increasingly competitive each year. Clancy & Theys, one of six finalists, had only ten, very intense minutes to convince a panel of judges that its technology solution, Field2Base (www.field2base.com), could transform the way contractors do business. The judges, all building industry leaders, were Rick Andritsch, Vice President of Business Development, Voss Jorgensen Schueler Company; Paul Hoffman, Managing Member, Hoffman Construction; and Mike Dunham, Executive Vice President of the Georgia Branch of AGC. At the end of Clancy & Theys' presentation, they were indeed convinced that Field2Base is worthy of the building industry's attention.

They also proved how the use of Field2Base saved money and shortened response cycles for critical project communications with other members of the design and construction team.
