Vista Ready Software Release from Field2Base Continues Advancement of Form Automation and Field Data Collection Functionality

June, 2007, Morrisville, NC - Field2Base Inc., announced today the general availability of Version 4.1 of its Field2Base Enterprise field force automation software solution.  Version 4.1 includes a host of enhancements targeted at improving the efficiency of the field user.  Additionally, Version 4.1 is the first Field2Base Enterprise release with built in support of the new Microsoft Vista operating system.

 Additional important features included in Version 4.1 include:

 GPS Support – Ability to automatically synchronize GPS data from a USB or Bluetooth GPS device on a tablet PC to the F2B Server.  This includes a standard GPS report and Web Service for integrated field collected GPS data with third party or custom developed applications.

 Form Scripting – Incorporates standard VB Script functionality within designed forms to allow advanced business rule logic and functionality on Field2Base smart forms.

 Advanced Form Data Entry – Provides unique Field2Base specific tools that leverage the Microsoft Handwriting Ink Analysis interface.  This results in increased ease of use and better accuracy in handwriting recognition regions within forms.  Also incorporates correction options and keyboard entry.
