What is Field2Base?

Forms2Base Client

The Forms2Base client allows field users to complete digital versions of their current paper based forms using the Tablet PC and digital pen to mimic their current pen to pad process. Completed forms can then be communicated to the home office for processing. The completed form may be transmitted wirelessly to desktop PCs as an email attachment or passed to enterprise back-end systems for automated data entry using an industry standard XML interface.

The Forms2Base application is designed for ease of use giving field users an intuitive interface that allows them to be productive immediately after a brief training session. Users can input all data with the Tablet PC pen and then by tapping the “Process” icon, convert that data into typed text leveraging the underlying Microsoft handwriting recognition software. Tools like a “Magnifier” icon to aid in filling out small regions and a “Show Ink” icon that allows users to see and correct their original ink strokes even after processing provide additional ease of use capabilities.

Most important to the field user is that digital forms in Forms2Base look exactly like their current paper based forms. This encourages quick adoption of the Forms2Base technology and allows our clients to quickly achieve their ROI goals.
