Field2Base Hosted Communications

The Field2Base software is able to manage communications for the field user because of our patent pending technology that utilizes a Field2Base server as the central hub for all communications between the Tablet PCs and the Internet. The server maintains the data-base with configuration data for communication with the field tablets. With this product, the data is segregated by user and project and access is restricted to authorized users only. Desktop computers connected to the Internet can be used to administer users and other data on the server using a standard browser such as Internet Explorer. All communications activity and copies of the documents sent to and from the Tablet PCs are maintained on the server, providing both an audit trail and file back-up for the field users should the Tablet hardware become damaged, stolen or rendered unusable

• Document Management and Control - The Field2Base server acts as a clearinghouse and central repository for all documents ensuring all network customers automatically receive the latest revision of all documentation, while maintaining an archive of previous versions.
• Guaranteed Delivery - Using sophisticated message queuing technology, the Field2Base server is able to guarantee that the intended recipient receives all messages. Should the receiver's network, email or other communications medium be down, the Field2Base server will continue to retry until the message is successfully delivered
• Complete Logging of All Transactions - The Field2Base server maintains a complete and detailed log of all transactions on the network.
• Security - The Field2Base server uses strong encryption technology to ensure that all messages remain secure, and private.
• Remote Software Deployment - The Field2Base server is used to push out new software to the client machines across the network requiring little IT support from the customer.
• Standardized Connectivity - The Field2Base server architecture has been designed to rapidly integrate with new network partners, such as suppliers and manufacturers. Additionally, all messaging can be converted into standardized data formats such as XML or ODBC to allow for back end integration into Financial Systems, Sales & Distribution and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, and PeopleSoft.
